This is a nonverbal form of “telephone.”

Students gather in a circle holding hands.

One student sends a nonverbal “pulse” around the circle. This pulse passes from student to student until it returns to the sender.

How long does it take? Can you beat your record? Can you beat the record from last year?

The pulse can also be nonverbal pattern: three little squeezes and a big one, two big squeezes and one a little one, etc. The last person to receive the pattern states it out loud.
