Some sections of corequisite courses end up with very few students enrolled.
We are currently employing a 10-year expiration date on HS GPAs.
A HS GPA of 2.2 is our current floor for admittance into corequisite courses.

A student enrolled in a gateway course with a corequisite course will take a large number of contact hours for that subject.
It is possible for students can pass the gateway course but fail the corequisite course.
Grading assignments in the corequisite course is rather problematic.
