Aim:

By May 2022, we will improve our baseline of 2.5 to 3.0 for male Reclassified English Learner students self-reporting that they agree with our focus question:

“I can be myself at school”

*After achieving our initial goal in January 2022, we established a new baseline of 2.95 and increased our improvement goal to 3.25.

  • Cell phone policy change
  • Students chose to remain for a second semester.
  • Weekly SEL lessons with counselor started.
  • Marked decrease in fights/threats on campus.

Shift to school-wide focus; target students reported feeling “themselves” in the Teen Living class.
