Any additional input for Countryside Academy?
More direction as to how to account for those students that are on quarantine as far as classwork.
none
I think things are running much more smoothly this year, and having everyone return to in-person learning has been much better overall.
This Covid experience has been incredibly challenging, but the staff at Countryside Academy has been totally supportive.
I chose Mental Health for the students who need additional support due to COVID and its effects on students and their ability to learn effectively. I know we have a counselor but I don't think we have enough per pupil with some of the behaviors seen this year. I am not a believer in intervention for the upper grades but see a definite need for it in the lower el with students coming unprepared for the rigors of education.
I believe the need for a social worker should be a priority.
The hiring of learning support staff has been very beneficial. That would be a great investment of further resources.
I think Countryside does an excellent job with learning supports and intervention already.
Just help us get through this interesting time. Thank you.
This was extremely difficult, since most of these are equally important. :)
not too sure about this....
