The Lion and the Lamb

من يرعى الغنم ينبغي ألا يكون أسداً و لا نعجة. القديس يوحنا الدرجي

He who herds the sheep should not be a lion nor a sheep. Saint John Climacus.

ها انا ارسلكم كغنم في وسط ذئاب فكونوا حكماء كالحيات و بسطاء كالحمام. (مت 10 : 16)

" Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Mat 10 : 16)

يتعجل الحكم في الأمور

Rushes to judge matters

يميل للعنف في الأحكام

Tends to be violent in judgments

يأخذ ما ليس له

He takes what he doesn't have

الخادم الأسد

يظلم و لا يشعر بالذنب

He oppresses and does not feel guilty

يفترس الأصغر و الاقل منه

Preys on the smallest and the least

يميل للسيطرة و الإفتخار

Tends to control and boast

يستخدم التهديد و الوعيد

He uses threats and intimidation

فحمي غضب داود على الرجل جدا و قال لناثان حي هو الرب انه يقتل الرجل الفاعل ذلك. و يرد النعجة اربعة اضعاف لانه فعل هذا الامر و لانه لم يشفق

So David's anger was greatly aroused against the man, and he said to Nathan, "[As] the LORD lives, the man who has done this shall surely die!. "And he shall restore fourfold for the lamb, because he did this thing and because he had no pity".

فقال ناثان لداود انت هو الرجل هكذا قال الرب اله اسرائيل انا مسحتك ملكا على اسرائيل و انقذتك من يد شاول. (2صم 12 : 5 – 7)

Then Nathan said to David, "You [are] the man! Thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. (2Sa 12 : 5 – 7)

و قال لامك لامراتيه عادة و صلة اسمعا قولي يا مراتي لامك و اصغيا لكلامي فاني قتلت رجلا لجرحي و فتى لشدخي. انه ينتقم لقايين سبعة اضعاف و اما للامك فسبعة و سبعين.

(تك 4 : 23 ، 24)

Then Lamech said to his wives: "Adah and Zillah, hear my voice; Wives of Lamech, listen to my speech! For I have killed a man for wounding me, Even a young man for hurting me. If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, Then Lamech seventy-sevenfold". (Ge 4 : 23 – 24)

فقال الملك موتا تموت يا اخيمالك انت و كل بيت ابيك. و قال الملك للسعاة الواقفين لديه دوروا و اقتلوا كهنة الرب لان يدهم ايضا مع داود و لانهم علموا انه هارب و لم يخبروني فلم يرض عبيد الملك ان يمدوا ايديهم ليقعوا بكهنة الرب.

(1صم 22 : 16 ، 17)

And the king said, "You shall surely die, Ahimelech, you and all your father's house!". Then the king said to the guards who stood about him, "Turn and kill the priests of the LORD, because their hand also [is] with David, and because they knew when he fled and did not tell it to me" But the servants of the king would not lift their hands to strike the priests of the LORD. (1Sa 22 : 16 – 17)

الرجل المبتدع بعد الانذار مرة و مرتين اعرض عنه. عالما ان مثل هذا قد انحرف و هو يخطئ محكوما عليه من نفسه. (تي 3 : 10 ، 11)

Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition,. knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned. (Ti 3 : 10 , 11)

الخادم (النعجة)

يترك لكل خروف أن يسير على هواه

Leaves every sheep to walk as it likes

يسكت على الظلم .. و لا يواجه الظالم

Is Silent about injustice, and does not face the oppressor

يرى الشر .. و لا يحذر او يوبخ

Sees evil, and he doesn't warn or reprimand

يترك المؤذي يكمل جريمته

Leaves the malicious complete his crime

يخاف من الغنم .. ومن الخادم الأسد

Is afraid of the sheep and from the servant lion

Solomon in front of his wives

The Lamb Servant

ان كان احد ياتيكم و لا يجيء بهذا التعليم فلا تقبلوه في البيت و لا تقولوا له سلام. لان من يسلم عليه يشترك في اعماله الشريرة. (2 يو 1 : 10 ، 11)

If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him;. for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. (2 John 1 : 10 – 11)

In the moment of weakness or lukewarm, beware of the lamb servant.
