How to install your
Calendly ManyChat Action
What is in this manual?
1. Get template
For all our Actions in the ManyChat App store we supply you with a sample flow or template so you can set it all up easily!
Installing the template will also install all required Apps and Bot/Custom Fields.
The link to the template for this action is:

2. How to get the App/Action in your account
We recommend installing the template, it will save you days of trying to figure out how to use each step in the App.
If you MUST only install the action/app and want to figure it all out on your own, a direct link to the App is here:https://manychat.com/apps/563/install
If you don’t install the template and require my help, you can hire me to help you.
3. Activate the App
Enter the basic data (usually your ManyChat API and License Key) and you’re on to the next step: The ManyChat flowbuilder.
Do not forget to put our URLs in your Authorize Website Settings:
manyapps.ioapi.manyapps.io
4. How to activate the Free Trial
All Apps have a testing period of 100 server requests.
In the App settings area you will find the code you need to enter. We recommend adding your email address as well so you will be notified (3x) of your current usage.
5. How to get a valid license key
Feel free to go to ManyApps.io, all our Apps will be there and all apps are included in your license.
6. Enter your Settings
Inside the flowbuilder, select an action node from the menu. Browse through the actions and it will appear (last installed action usually at the bottom) in your list.
Click the action, a window will appear where you will be able to select a specific action (authorize/connect, webhooks, calendar views).

7. Authorize ManyApps for Calendly
For this app to retrieve your Calendar and use webhooks to notify your invitee through ManyChat, you need to authorize our App.
We have 2 methods on how to do this. OAuth2 or Personal Access Token.
7.1 Authorize ManyApps for Calendly with OAuth
OAuth2 is the easiest method:
Simply run the flow in the template Admin folder, click the button in the chat and visit Calendly.
You’ll be prompted to give ManyChat access to your account.
Confirm this is Okay and everything should work.
7.2 Authorize ManyApps for Calendly with PAT
Personal Access Token:
If you want to use a Personal Access Token, which you can retrieve in your Calendly dashboard via the Integrations > API link, you will have to paste your Token in each App action setting.
Downside is you have to enter them everywhere you use the App.
Upside is it can be handy if your Calendly account has multiple users (like doctors in an office) and each user has her/his own agenda. The PAT is a Personal token, so each can have their own agenda in one account.
8. Webhooks
To get the best out of your Calendly App, a webhook is desired.
Each paid Calendly account is eligible for webhook usage.
Use our Webhook flow in the Admin folder of your template and manage your connected webhooks. Once activated, your invitee will be notified of Calendar updates through your ManyChat account.
Please note you need to use the correct Message Tags in order to stay compliant to Facebook Policies.
