Objective :
To survive a year long mission on Mars pre-constructed habitat.

Idea :
Our idea is simply to get integrated furniture with very few raw materials to provide it with a strong structure
You can also store luggage or supplies in the designated area.

Machining :
We worked on the design on the SolidWorks program where we transformed our ideas with an executable model according to the 3D printers having the same specifications of the challenge and due to the small size of these specifications we divided the parts into smaller parts within the limits of the allowed printer dimensions and we used a system similar to the puzzle pieces with the use of a solid and stable joint where it prevents movement in all directions and we used the merging route where we designed the structure of steel iron and plastic panels.

Recommended Printer
Having a multi-purpose tool is very efficient material wise and where we will put multiple tools (screwdrivers, pliers, cutting saws, knives, etc.)
We also implemented a contactless voltage sensor to assist the maintenance of electrical appliances in the habitat.
