Visit the researchdatagov.org portal to find FSRDC datasets and their access conditions. Over 200 administrative, census, and survey microdata assets from federal statistical agencies are available at FSRDCs.

Steps for depositing, sharing, and analyzing data on dCollab

Data owner approves data use request / parties sign data sharing & use contract / UWDC supports process
Data owner transfers sensitive data securely to UWDC
UWDC sets up project’s secure virtual working space and makes sensitive data accessible within enclave to approved users (with data use licenses) / UWDC staff can support data management processes
Approved data users analyze data with UWDC-provided, top-rated analytical tools and software
Approved data users request review of analytical research products for outbound transfer
UWDC vets analytical research products to prevent egress of personally identifiable information, personal health information, or proprietary data
UWDC releases analytical research product to data user for further disclosure review by data owner
