150 Minutes:

  • 120-130 minutes of reading and writing (written response to text) and 20-30 minutes of writing instruction (writing process)
  • On grade level instruction (minimum of 90 minutes)
  • Handwriting (3-5 minutes of modeling) - Remaining minutes are done independently (e.g., bell work, end of day before dismissal, send home as homework)
  • i-Ready (45 minutes per week during center time only)
  • Small group instruction occurs daily, see MTSS Logic Model
  • Heggerty Routine (10 minutes daily)
  • Use resources from Wonders, Heggerty, S.P.I.R.E, Amplify, and i-Ready to address skill deficits
  • Progress monitoring (every 2 weeks for intensive, every 4 weeks for targeted students on RIMPs using m-Class Dibels)
