In This Deck

February 2024

In January, 2024, the Indulgence party hosts distributed a survey to party guests to get a better sense of what they think about Indulgence, what they like, and what they would want to see improved.

This deck contains the results of that survey, and was created to communicate them to the broader Indulgence community.

Executive Summary

February 2024

Partygoers are extremely happy with Indulgence

People’s overall satisfaction with Indulgence is higher than their (also high) satisfaction with the sex at Indulgence and with the quality of the other attendees

People are very happy overall with the other aspects of Indulgence (facilities, communications, appetizers, contributions). They generally like the new appetizer sign-up sheet and are willing to pay a bit more annually than we have asked for to date: up to $100 per year

Circle time is the biggest point of disagreement. About half are very or extremely satisfied with it, but a very vocal minority wants it streamlined or done away with. But the people who like it most are women and singles (i.e., the most potentially vulnerable) while those who disapprove are partnered and male (i.e., those who could benefit most from having the women and singles feel comfortable)

People are mostly happy keeping the themes as they are, with a sizeable minority in favor of more themes. But there is no universal agreement on desired new themes

At least a few of the people on the guest list have a sense of being left out and are frustrated at the lack of communication and seeming randomness of when they are invited

At Least Some on the Guest List Feel Left Out

February 2024

“Some information is shared with the whole group, some with individuals, and it is not clear who is in the group or not and why”

- Partnered male, 5+ parties

“I don’t get invited to every party and that makes me sad”

- Single female, 2-4 parties

One nugget from the open-ends is that at least some on the guest list (but possibly most) are aware that they are not invited to all parties or part of all communications and this is a point of frustration for them.

“I like enforcing condom use as that has made me uncomfortable in past when it is open for negotiation Thank you from some of us women!”

“I 💕 love all of you and am so appreciative of your efforts. I feel so blessed to be a part of this amazing group!”

“Love the hosts and the vibe they bring -- super fun, incredibly sexy, remarkably inclusive”
