Proposed Agenda for Senior Activities:

Location: Auditorium & Cafeteria/Canteen

  • 8:30 AM: Senior Activities commence in the auditorium
    • Faculty Excellence Awards & Senior Superlatives
  • 9:15 AM: Senior Year-in-Review Video
  • 9:30 AM: Faculty Excellence Awards & Senior Superlatives continues
    • Yearbook signing
  • 10:30 AM: Senior Brunch provided by PTSA
  • 11:15 AM: Distribution of Graduation Tickets in the Quad
    • Seniors without Period 6 may leave after receiving their tickets
    • Seniors with a Period 6 will receive their tickets afterward and may leave at 12:00 PM

Graduation Ticket Distribution

  • Thursday, May 28th, Students pick-up at the Senior Activities Events during Finals. (Each student will receive 6 tickets. Graduates do not need a ticket, all attendees over the age of 2 will need a ticket.) Student ID will be required for ticket pickup.
  • If your student is on the non-grad list, they will not be receiving tickets.
  • Please keep tickets safe and secure. No additional tickets will be given or sold.
  • Ticket distribution will begin at approximately 11:15am

BHS CLASS OF 2026 COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY�MEMORIAL FIELD�Friday, MAY 29, 2026�

  • 4:00pm – GRADUATES Arrive at JBHS Baseball field, enter through Parish Gate to check in and receive Grad Image card
  • 5:00-5:30 pm – Lineup according to pre-assigned row (*Seating chart will be posted on the Class of 2026 Google Classroom.)
  • 5:45-6:00 pm – Move into procession position
  • 6:00 pm - Begin procession
  • 8:00 pm - Ceremony concludes, time for photos

Rules for Graduates and Spectators

GRADUATES:

  • Take your gown out of the bag ASAP, hang it up, try it on, do NOT wash or iron it.
  • Stoles, sashes, and pins must be school-approved; leis are permitted.
  • Cap decoration is permitted (within dress code - no drug, alcohol, or inappropriate references; less than ¼ inch high).
  • NO spiked heels (you will sink into the field and cause damage) - platforms okay.
  • Travel light! No bags, purses, backpacks, or anything to carry! Everything must fit in your pockets. NO gum, no food or drinks. Water will be provided by PTSA (thank you).

SPECTATORS:

  • Gates will open at 4:00pm.
  • Gates will be closed during procession. Once all students are in their seats, the gates will open to continue entry.
  • No balloons, large signs, or anything that will impede the view of those around you.
  • No air horns, noise makers, or anything that may startle those around you.
  • No gum, outside food or drinks - all bags will be checked at entry. Travel light!
  • PTSA will be selling snacks and beverages.

Spectators with ADA Needs

  • Bleachers on both sides of the stadium have ramps. Seating is accessible without stairs.
  • There are designated seats in the bleachers for wheelchairs and other accessibility needs.

  • Leis & Bouquets may be pre-ordered at: 

WWW.THECOMMENCEMENTGROUP.COM/BURBANK/ and can be picked up at either entry gate on graduation day *Last day to order is 24 hours before the event, so by Thursday, May 28th! **Leis must be given to seniors BEFORE 4:00pm or AFTER the ceremony.
