Present Perfect
🠞 The present perfect is often used for an action that started at some time in the past and is continuing now.
Alice saw Coldplay two years ago.
Do we exactly know when that happened?
Specified time (we do know when the action happened).
‘saw ’ is a verb in the past simple.
verb + ed (with regular verbs) / past form of irregular verbs
🠞 It is used to talk about a definite finished action in the past.
☞ Yes, we do. (two years ago)
