We want to add the imagery you need!

If we don’t have the imagery you need (resolution or time frame) -- and it exists -- we will try to order it from the satellite imagery providers’ catalogs.

Process:

  1. Draw a polygon around the area in My Maps or Google Earth.
  2. One satellite scene from Digital Globe is ~300 km sq or 30K hectares
  3. Send the polygon to raleigh@google.com.

Capture 360 photos with the Street View app

  1. Go outside, and open the Street View app on your phone.
  2. Click the orange button in the lower-right corner, and begin taking photos by centering the dot on your screen.
  3. Keeping your phone relatively close to you, and treating your body like a tripod, rotate around 1 time, then tilt the phone upwards for 2 rotations, then downwards for 2 rotations. When it’s complete, it will begin stitching and color-correcting, and produce a complete 360 photo.
  4. The captured 360 photos will show up in your "Private" tab.

You can also publish photos to Google Maps, connect your 360s and add a Maps listing to your 360 to make it searchable!
