Operations

  • MnDOT acquired the ATMA system from Kratos in April 2021
  • ATMA system was assigned to a maintenance shop and they were asked to test it.
    • This was in addition to existing work
    • At times communication about issues was not happening in a timely manner
  • For 2023 MnDOT hired (internal temporary positions) 2 employees to operate the ATMA system full time
    • Traveled the state supporting general maintenance operations
    • Operators were empowered to troubleshoot and work with Kratos to solve issues.
