CHRISTCHURCH

HARPENDEN

Welcome to our church – we are delighted that you are with us today

3 of 105

4 of 105

Come praise and glorify our God,

The Father of our Lord.

In Christ He has in heav’nly realms

His blessings on us poured.

5 of 105

For pure and blameless in His sight

He destined us to be,

And now we’ve been adopted through

His Son eternally.

6 of 105

To the praise of Your glory,

To the praise of Your mercy and grace.

To the praise of Your glory,

You are the God who saves.

7 of 105

Come praise and glorify our God,

Who gives His grace in Christ.

In Him our sins are washed away

Redeemed through sacrifice.

8 of 105

In Him God has made known to us

The mystr’y of His will,

That Christ should be the head of all,

His purpose to fulfil.

9 of 105

To the praise of Your glory,

To the praise of Your mercy and grace.

To the praise of Your glory,

You are the God who saves.

10 of 105

Come praise and glorify our God,

For we’ve believed the Word.

And through our faith we have a seal,

The Spirit of the Lord.

11 of 105

The Spirit guarantees our hope

Until redemptions done,

Until we join in endless praise

To God, the Three - in - One.

Come, Thou Fount of ev’ry blessing

Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;

Streams of mercy, never ceasing

Call for songs of loudest praise.

24 of 105

Teach me some melodious sonnet,

Sung by flaming tongues above.

Praise His name, I’m fixed upon it;

Name of Thy redeeming love.

25 of 105

O, to grace, how great a debtor,

Daily I’m constrained to be.

Make Thy goodness like a chain that

Binds my wandering heart to Thee.

26 of 105

Prone to wander, Lord I feel it,

Prone to leave the God I love.

Here’s my heart, Lord, take and seal it,

Seal it for Thy courts above.

27 of 105

O that day when freed from sinning

I shall see Thy lovely face.

Clothed in righteousness and glory,

How I’ll sing Thy sovereign grace.

Jesus, Lord of all creation,

God’s own Son poured out for us.

How we’ll bow in adoration,

Saved by His redeeming blood.

We have found a refuge, only You can save.

Sing with joy now; our God is for us,

The Father's love is a strong and mighty fortress.

Raise your voice now, no love is greater,

Who can stand against us if our God is for us.

80 of 105

Even when I stumble, even when I fall,

Even when I turn back, still Your love is sure.

You will not abandon, You will not forsake,

You will cheer me onward with never-ending grace.

Hell and death will not defeat us.

He who gave His son to free us,

Holds me in His love

Most merciful God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

we confess that we have sinned in thought, word and deed.

We have not loved you with our whole heart.

We have not loved our neighbours as ourselves.

In your mercy forgive what we have been,

help us to amend what we are, and direct what we shall be; that we may do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with you, our God.

Amen.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,

and the love of God

and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit

be with us all evermore.

forgive us our debts as we also have

forgiven our debtors. And lead us not

into temptation but deliver us from evil.

Amen
