Resources

We will be using a variety of online tools for language learning in conjunction with authentic resources on the internet. You will be exploring the Spanish-Speaking world through images, texts, music, videos, literature, current events and more. There is no textbook for this class. If you would like a textbook as a back up resource, let me know.

Class Expectations:

  • Be present and on time

Plan on going to Google Classroom a minute or two before class starts so you are sure you can find the link. If you have a connectivity issue that prevents you from attending on time, join as soon as you can. If you miss class altogether, please email as soon as you are able amd I will direct you to the make up work.

  • Be respectful

Follow the school rules for appropriate Zoom behavior. Just as in school, inappropriate behavior could result in a referral to the assistant principal.

  • Communicate with me!

If you have any questions, concerns or just want to practice Spanish, please e-mail me or send me a message on Google Classroom. If you feel that you are struggling for any reason, please let me know so I can help.

  • Be patient !

Learning a new language is fun but can be frustrating at times. Errors, and lots of them, are part of the learning process. Embrace your errors and be patient with yourself. Also, be patient with me as I learn this new way of teaching!
