Explain the targeting parameters

{Identify the targeting parameters you’d select to amplify your blog Give reasons for the same.}

Targeting parameters:

  1. Age Range: 18 to 30 years [women] (This age group includes college students and working professionals and majority of them have a strong affinity for printed tees, fashion & photography).

  • Location: Odisha (As the website name is Trendy Odisha. The store mainly focuses on the people of Odisha to create awareness, drive traffic and increase sales).

  • Interests: (a) Ad group 1 – Bewakoof.com & Myntra (I took a survey on my friends and followers. The majority of them buy tees from these brands. This was the reason to select these interests). (b) Ad group 2 – Fashion bloggers & shopping and fashion (Trendy Odisha sells classy, funky & trendy tees. These sets of people express interest in style, fashion, and photography and have a higher affinity to these categories of t-shirts).

  • Any other relevant targeting parameters: Narrow down with Behavioral: Engaged shoppers (These are people who are most likely to engage with ads or clicked on CTAs previously. This helps in maximizing clicks).

Summary

Write a short summary covering following points (Word limit- 150 words):

(a) What KPIs will you use to analyze the ad performance?

Ans: 1. Link clicks - to measure the traffic driven to the landing pages and website. 2. CPC - to analyze how cost efficient the campaign was. 3. CTR - to find out how relevant was the ad for the target audience. 4. Reach, frequency, & impression are other indicators to measure the number of person saw the ad, how many times a person saw the ad, and how many times the ad is viewed in total respectively.

(b) Was the campaign a success or not?

Ans: With a budget of Rs. 1000 in the highly competitive industry plus running campaign for the first time, it is difficult to say whether the campaign was successful or not. I aimed 500+ clicks. Keeping that in mind with these data (CPC = 2.51, CTR = 1.31, link click = 376, reach = 24,594, imp. = 36,751) I can only say that it was a moderate campaign and there is a lot to improve.

(c) Based on the results obtained, suggest some targeting optimizations that you would perform (atleast 2)

Ans: 1. Rather than targeting the entire state, I would have targeted 2 to 3 cities with a good number of college students & working professionals in the city.

2. Targeting specific niche interest for specifically printed t-shirts (e.g. targeting dog lovers for dog print t-shirts, targeting harry porter community for harry porter print t-shirts).

(d) Based on the results obtained, suggest some creative optimizations that you would perform (atleast 2)

Ans: 1. A video showcasing the usage, benefit & quality of the t-shirts to increase consideration.

        2. For specific niche targeting, I would go for a carousel ( e.g. image featuring a dog with a person wearing a dog print t-shirt, featuring a cat with the person wearing a cat print t-shirt, and so on ). 3. Providing maximum number of headlines for best combinations.
