% Students Reading At or Above Grade Level in Spring Fountas and Pinnell Benchmarks

  • 65% K-5 students were reported as reading at or above grade level in the Spring 2019 F&P Benchmarks (This is a decline from 72% in the previous year.)

  • 72% of general education K-5 students were reported as reading at or above grade level in the Spring 2019 F&P Benchmarks

  • Beginning in summer 2019, our district has partnered with Rutgers for the New Jersey Tiered System of Supports-Early Reading initiative for the next three years. In this first year we are analyzing our programs with our state coach and began administering a new assessment, the DIBELS, in addition to our F&P benchmarks.

BTHS has been recognized on ANNUAL AP DISTRICT HONOR ROLL for the last five years.

The AP District Honor Roll recognizes school districts committed to increasing access to AP for underrepresented students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher.
