Location of the apron expansion provides suitable airside/landside interface for the expansion of the cargo operation

Designed to accommodate drainage from future cargo building and corresponding landside operation
New Taxilane S entrance to serve new positions and 2 existing positions
Design included coordination with existing operators and airport operations for interface with existing apron and terminal access taxilane/taxiway during construction and final condition
Provide for cargo container storage during construction and in final condition
Building on a Budget – Entire Cargo Apron Expansion is a $50M construction program. Every interested stakeholder wants the apron expansion shown on this slide. In order to achieve this, we designed the entire program to 100% with specific sequenced and allowable concurrent construction phases. We did this in order to maintain the airport’s operations and to also maintain a functional site at all times throughout the construction in order to build the entire program across multiple planned construction packages & seasons.
