Let’s start with some funnies!
Google Classroom is an excellent platform to use with students of all ages. It can make organizing assignments easier and communicating with students more effective! If you are already familiar with Google Classroom, is there anything positive you would like to share about it? How does it work for you?
Turning in Homework on Google Classroom
TURN IN- You must upload a document that needs to be submitted for grading to your teacher.
MARK AS DONE- When a link is given that leads to completing an assignment
Sending feedback to students on Google Classroom
Feedback is an ESSENTIAL piece in the learning process! As teachers, sometimes this gets put on the back burner once grades are given!
Ways to give feedback in Google Classroom
Feedback doesn’t have to be hard! Leave simple, quick feedback to students such as “I think this was a wonderful paragraph to start with Jason!” or “I’m confused by your wording here Sally, look at this again.”
Differentiation using Google Classroom
What are some ways you have given your students “choice and voice” in their learning? Did something work really well for you that you will continue to use?
Questions? Thoughts?
Choose two of the following assignments to complete in order to obtain credit for this session! Please upload these to your homework documentation log located in Google Classroom! | ||
View the example learning path playlist located here. Read through it and think about how you could use something similar in your Google Classroom. Create a reflection and discuss how you could use this! Upload your document to your homework sheet! | Create a choice board that you would use on Google Classroom to provide differentiation to your students during the first week of online instruction with your students. Once finished, upload to homework document! |
