The skills section of your resume shows employers you have the abilities required to succeed in the role. Often, employers pay special attention to the skills section of your resume to determine if you should move on to the next step of the hiring process.
When updating or creating your resume you should of course include a list of your hard skills, but just as important, add your soft skills. Carefully review the job description and then include any soft skills you have that are necessary to fulfill the requirement of the job.
