A New Award
The Govies are awards for government employees who cut red tape to bring innovation forward faster.
The Govies recognize government workers who go above and beyond in their agency or department to clear a path for innovators.
Govies Judging Process
All applications undergo an initial review to ensure they meet our standards and criteria.
A panel of experts then review the nominations.
Govies Judging Process
Judges ask questions like:
“Did this bring an innovation to market faster?”
“Did this increase productivity?”
“Are people better off now?”

There is no maximum number of Govies that can be awarded.

The Centennial Club
The Centennial Club is the first 100 funders of The Govies at the $500 individual level, $1,500 corporate.
As a Centennial Club member, these first 100 funders, the founders of The Govies, will be forever enshrined on The Govies web site.
Key Dates
The first Govie awards ceremony is April 4, 2020!
Winners will be announced March 5, 2020.
