Social Studies

Topic: Brazil Land Use Conflict, Part 2� We will look at the views of the remaining 4 groups in Brazil interested in how the rainforest is used. Students will read/view material to understand these views and think about solutions.

Standard: SS 6.17 Analyze and explain the cultural, physical, and environmental characteristics of places and regions and how this affects the life of the people who live there.

What to do: View the slideshow, watch the videos, and complete your graphic organizer (see below). You could use notebook paper also. Be sure to take the quiz on last slide!
