Historical Background

  • Brook & Boutros families entered in shipping from 2007, operating Ro/Ro Landing Crafts for transporting cars
  • Mr. Bassem & Mrs. Valentina started jointly investing in small liner Ro-Ro landing crafts.
  • In 2012 the company is involved in shipping service business as well with its own transport network. Two of them are multi-purpose general cargo vessels of 17.5 thousand MT each, transporting all variety of cargo all over the world..

  • In 2016 Mr. Bassem & Mrs Valentina materialized their new policy of expanding their existing fleet with newer dry bulk vessel of about 31000dwt. During the first ten (9) years (2007-2016) the company managed successfully two (2) liner type vessels, two (2) small handysize multi-purpose ships of 17,500dwt each and one (1) handysize bulker of 31,000dwt.

  • Boutros Sealines S.A has been duly incorporated and commenced legal existence as a Liberian Nonresident Domestic Corporation upon filing of the Articles of Incorporation endorsed in accordance with Section 4.7 of the Business Corporation Act on the 20th day of September 2016.
  • The Greek branch of Boutros Sealines S.A was established under the provisions of article 25 of Law 27/1975 as Article 4 of Law 2234/1994 as amended in Article 4 of Law 3752/2009 and Article 31 of Law 4150/2013 for the purpose as permissible by its statutes, is exclusively employed only by the acts provided for in that Article; in the field of Chartering & SnP.

  • By September 2017 BOS succeeded in moving its first million MT of various cargoes and pushed hard for expanding its activities and abilities to help and assist its valuable customers and achieve its goals.

​

  • In 2019 BOS acquired one (1) additional handysize bulk carrier of 28,000dwt.

​

  • In 2020 the company acquired one (1) modern handysize bulk carrier of 32,500dwt.

​
