How to access Xello?

  1. Go to �� www.ocdsb.ca and click on the “Student Portal”.

2) Click “Login Now”.

3) Sign in with OCDSB email and password.

4) On the Navigation Bar, select the “Gr 7-12 Specific” Tile, then click on the Xello Icon.

5) You are now logged into Xello. Select Course Planner �

Click each subject area to select your course for Gr 11

  • After you click on �a subject area, �this screen will �appear

  • Select your course

  • Follow these steps�to select all your �courses!

Alternate Course Selection

You must select an Alternate Course. It will be used to replace �an elective course option if:

  1. The course is cancelled due to low enrollment
  2. The course is conflicting with another selected course scheduled at the same time
  3. The course is waitlisted*

*You will remain on the waitlist for your original course

A few notes and reminders…..

  • If you are interested in eLearning courses, please select in Xello.
  • If you are interested in opting out of the eLearning graduation requirement, please complete the form at this Link
  • To sign up for Concert/Jazz Band, complete this form.
  • Summer school information will be shared in March / April. Select your courses in Xello as if you are NOT going to summer school.
  • Interested in a SHSM? Please speak with your guidance counsellor.

Submitting Your Courses

  • You can revisit Xello to make changes to your course selections before you submit.
  • Make sure you review your course selections with a parent/guardian.
  • Course selection is not official until you hit the READY TO SUBMIT button.
  • When you hit READY TO SUBMIT, �your courses are submitted and locked.

Deadline to submit courses on Xello is Friday, February 27th
