  • Each sentence needs a subject and a verb.
  • Make sure each sentence follows the last sentence in paragraph form.
  • Check your verbs.
    • Do the verbs forms agree with the subjects? (For example: He is, NOT He are)
    • Do not mix the verb “be” and other verbs in the Present Simple tense.)
  • Check the word order in your sentences.
    • Are the subjects before the verbs?
    • Are adjectives before nouns?
  • Review your punctuation:
    • Begin each sentence with a capital letter.
    • End each sentence with a period.
