1 of 5

To speak in love is Jesus’ way

To stop revenge, dispel dismay;

He would not teach, would not obey

All unjust dictates of his day.

2 of 5

To speak in love is seen as weak

By those who seek to crush the meek;

But strength is born in those who speak

For voiceless ones who mutely shriek.

3 of 5

To speak in love and not by force

Connects with virtue at its source;

And Jesus would, we know, endorse

Our dealings when they take love’s course.

4 of 5

To speak in love but not be wild

When we are shunned and feel exiled

Can re-unite a parent, child;

Oh, what the joy when reconciled.

5 of 5

It is not weak but truly strong

To speak in love when faced with wrong;

In all our deeds and words we long

To speak in love. This is our song.
