Community Charging:

RFP – released in Spring of 2024:

  • Third try!
  • We included approximately 60 City-owned parking locations (garages & lots)
  • Final selection of vendor underway

City Attorney’s Office – reviewing parking enforcement options

City website improvements drafted with the goal of helping the public with permitting and other FAQ’s

Fleet EV Charging:

Charging plan included recommendations to help with Fleet EV conversion:

  • Last year, CIP request for design and construction was unfunded
  • This year, 2 CIP requests are pending; (1) design of all recommended Fleet charging sites (2) EV Charging Pilot

  • Transportation Focused: Trails, LED Streetlights & EV charging

City - CFI EV Charging Grant:

  • PENDING Round 2 – $3 Million request for 14 Low-income Sites & Workforce Development Planning

City - EECBG – Formula Grant:

$189,550 for EV Design Work

$125,000 to P & R for Bike Share study

$77,000 to P & R for Bike Racks and repair stations

$27,000 to Libraries for energy conservation education
