Next week our focus texts will be | The Pirates Are Coming! By John Condon |
Phonics | We will learn the codes /y/ and /ey/ and the sounds they make. We will be learning how to apply this into reading and writing by reading and writing words containing the sounds. |
Maths | In our Maths sessions we will be exploring patterns. In our Maths Mastery sessions we are exploring the composition of five and ten. |
Literacy | We will be developing our writing skills to write job descriptions for pirates! |
Inquiry | We will be starting our new learning about leaders of the past by learning about pirates! We will be learning about famous pirates and we will be learning how to talk like a pirate! Shiver me timbers! |
