What is Climate YES?
Climate YES is a global ecumenical movement of young activists from around the world working together for Climate Justice guided by the common bond of our faith.

Climate YES Launched on September 17, 2022
took place in five regional hubs; the United Kingdom, Italy, Kenya, South Africa, and Malawi. The five regional hubs were linked together through hybrid interactions.

Climate YES is led by the Steering Committee drawn from the Regional Hubs that coordinates the work of Climate YES.

PAST ACTIVITIES
A webinar on the effects of Climate Change, mitigation, and Adaptation was held on March 30, 2023
-A forest of 500 indigenous trees was planted on church land in Masulita Parish, Namirembe Diocese on 30th April 2023.
-A training of trainers workshop for young leaders in Uganda was convened on 19th August 2023.
-A webinar on effects of Climate Change on Gender-Based Violence was held on 16 February 2023.

-The Trees to thrive project, is a practical mentorship program that involves children in primary schools to establish tree nurseries and participate in tree growing.
