1. Why am I unable to see Search Brand Ads?

Search Brands Ads is currently in beta testing and available only to selected Mall sellers. You can reach out to your key account manager to find out more.

2. If I am already using Shop Ads, should I use Search Brand Ads?

We recommend running both search ad types together to capture high potential shoppers who search for brand specific keywords, or relevant shop/product keywords.

Shop Ads can boost your shop’s visibility on both Shopee and Shopee Mall search result page, with objective to drive click conversion. On the other hand, Search Brand Ads can capturing brand conscious shoppers who have intent to purchase from your brand with attractive promotional banner and ongoing flash sales.

3. When will Search Brand Ads or Shop Ads show on Shopee Search Result Page?

Search Brand Ads will be shown when shopper search exactly for your brand reserved keywords on Shopee’s Search Result Page.

Shop Ads will be shown for relevant keywords that you have bidded on, for broad or exact match searches (depending on your bid match type setting). Shop Ads can appear on search result page of both Shopee Homepage and Shopee Mall Page.

4. Can I select specific brand keywords to run Search Brand Ads?

No, all brand reserved keywords are automatically included in each Search Brand Ads campaign. You may view the list of brand reserved keywords on campaign creation page, in order of L30D search volume.

Frequently Asked Questions

5. Can I have overlapping campaigns within the same time period?

No, you can only run one Search Brand Ad campaign at a time.

6. What if I want to change creatives during my campaign?

You can change the creatives anytime during the campaign. However, uploading a new campaign will trigger a re-review of the creatives. And until the new creatives are approved, the old creatives will still be displayed. Once the new creative is approved, it will immediately replace the old one.

7. Do I need to upload creatives if I intend to use Premium template?

Yes, you will still need to upload banner creatives as the system will revert to the standard template when there are no ongoing Shopee Livestream session.

7. How will I be charged for my Search Brand Ads?

Search Brand Ads is changed based on CPM (cost-per-mille). The cost will be automatically deducted from your Ads Credit wallet.

To protect sellers, there is a deduction cap in place to detect malicious impressions, such as repeated searches from the same shopper within a day.
