My name is Rev. Nicola Skinner and I’m the current Chair of the Church Camp Board. We hope you will consider renting with us this summer to enjoy some respite with your family.

2021 Rental Rates

July 7-28 for 3 weeks @ $1,200

August 1-29 for 4 weeks @ $1,600

  • $100 security deposit

Arrival at 9 am or later

Departure by 12 pm noon

Registration Policy

  • Bookings: The registrar will start accepting booking requests on January 1st of each calendar year via a current google registration form. Rentals considered only for active & retired clergy with good standing in the Anglican Church of Canada (priority given to clergy with school-aged children first) and then bookings considered for widows/widowers & children of previous owners or children of current cottage owners starting on April 1st.

  • Deposits: Rental bookings will be confirmed when 50% of the rental has been transferred electronically to treasurer@churchcamp.ca within 10 business days of booking.

  • Fee Balances: Balances due by June 1st through electronic transfer to the treasurer or the booking may be forfeited. If rentals are booked after June 1st, the entire fee is due upon booking. NSF cheques will be charged $50.00.

Registration Policy cont’d

  • Security Deposits: Electronically transfer the $100 security deposit to the treasurer by June 1st. Cottages will be unlocked upon arrival and arrangements made for the key location. Camp officials will inspect rentals after departure for tidiness, cleanliness, damage or missing inventory. If cottage is in order, security deposits will be returned to renters via cheque in the mail in August for July rentals and September for August rentals.

  • Cancellation: If a renter needs to cancel, they must email a request to the camp registrar (rentals@churchcamp.ca) and treasurer (treasurer@churchcamp.ca). Prior to June 1st, the balance will be refunded minus a $75 administration fee. After June 1st, the balance will be refunded minus the $75 administration fee, only if a substitute can be found for the same length of time.

Renters can expect...

-rustic cottages with indoor plumbing and potable water

-door key for the rental period

-access to private beach , chapel & recreation amenities

-paper & cleaning products

-dishes, cutlery, pots & pans

-potholders, dish cloth & kitchen towels provided

-please note that you need to clean the cottage upon departure for the next guests

-foldable lawn chair for the beach

Check out the community sign for camp and local events, local restaurant finds and other information. Enjoy our playground station, horseshoes, volleyball & badminton, biking, public docks for fishing and scuba diving, field for soccer and a friendly ball game, swimming, walking and much more.

Our community hall is home to camp-wide functions like our corn roast, potluck dinners, Annual Meeting, coffee hours, weddings, reading corner, movie nights, talent shows, jam sessions, ping pong, board games and a lending library of DVDs and books. What you won’t find is Wifi though so you can come away and rest awhile!

  • All pets must be on a leash at all times outside and under no circumstances permitted at the beach at any time.
  • Renters are asked to participate on Thursday work bees from 9 to 10:30 followed by coffee hour (during their rental period).
  • Alcohol is not permitted at the beach.
  • Children must be directly supervised at the beach.
  • Slow down when driving, many children at play. Speed limit is 15 km/h on internal road.
  • Renters are asked to respect the designated quiet time between 1 and 3 pm each day.
  • Sunday service at 10 am followed by coffee hour
  • Garbage/Recycling Collection - two bags per cottage put out on alternate Monday mornings with recycling blue bins
  • Please leave cottage cleaner than you found it.
