  • Take neat notes.
  • Organize notes by subject.
  • Keep an organized desk. It makes it easier to find the information you need.
  • Study in class if you have time with a partner. Quiz each other.
  • Ask the teacher any questions you may have.

  • Find a quiet place with little distraction to study.
  • Plan ahead. Ask your parents to help you create a study schedule.
  • Don’t try and study everything all at once. Spend 20 minutes studying spelling, then 20 science etc.

  • Have a parent or older sibling quiz you on your material.
  • Make sure you get a good night sleep the night before the test, and then eat a healthy breakfast the morning of the test.

  • Come to class with materials (pencil, eraser, pen) needed.
  • Put your name on the test.
  • Listen to instructions carefully.
  • If you are having difficulty with one question, move on to another and come back to the difficult one.
  • If you feel overwhelmed take deep breaths and think positive thoughts ☺
