Take neat notes.
Organize notes by subject.
Keep an organized desk. It makes it easier to find the information you need.
Study in class if you have time with a partner. Quiz each other.
Ask the teacher any questions you may have.
4 of 7
Find a quiet place with little distraction to study.
Plan ahead. Ask your parents to help you create a study schedule.
Don’t try and study everything all at once. Spend 20 minutes studying spelling, then 20 science etc.

Have a parent or older sibling quiz you on your material.
Make sure you get a good night sleep the night before the test, and then eat a healthy breakfast the morning of the test.

Come to class with materials (pencil, eraser, pen) needed.
Put your name on the test.
Listen to instructions carefully.
If you are having difficulty with one question, move on to another and come back to the difficult one.
If you feel overwhelmed take deep breaths and think positive thoughts ☺
