My husband Jon and I are born in the Philippines. We moved to Singapore, lived there for 8 years and that's where Joaquin was born. From Singapore we moved to Michigan in 2018.

The lady in the picture is Doña Juana. She is raising her two grandchildren by herself. Las Victorias donated her a sewing machine that has turned into the family main source of income through Doña Juana’s seamstress work.
