Robin Eubanks is a trombonist, composer, arranger, and educator. He comes from a very musical family including a brother who play guitar professionally and a mother who teaches music. He plays with many great musicians such as bassist Dave Holland, saxophonist Chris Potter, and vibraphonist Steve Nelson. Eubanks attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and teaches at the Oberlin College Conservatory. He primarily play contemporary jazz with his own group, the Dave Holland Quintet, and more.
