Register as a Team Manager
Use this link to register as a Team Manager for the 2026/27 season.
You cannot complete team manager duties without being on the roster and completing all GotSport trainings.
Team Manager Training
Log into GotSport and navigate to the Dashboard.
Once you are registered the US Club Soccer Requirements section will appear, everything must be Green for your Team Manager rights to be granted in GotSport.
We will take care of the membership registration once all other requirements are met.
We will provide a code to pay for the background check, check the Team Manager TeamSnap.
DO NOT complete your training too early :)
Some of them reset on July 31, so if you do it too early, you will just have to do it all again.

Update and Maintain Shared Coach Scheduling File
You coach should share a scheduling file with you, before scheduling games note the scheduling window your team has been assigned.
Update and Maintain Shared Coach Scheduling File
Use this schedule to communicate with the other team managers for your coach, provide all information, even unconfirmed, below are some formatting hints that have worked well in the past.
I suggest highlighting tournaments in a bright color
When a game time and location is finalized I change the text color to green
I mark the dates of State Cup games so I don’t schedule over them before they are released.
When I have requested a change for an away game that has not been approved or confirmed I note what request I made.

Scheduling League and State Cup Games
HINTS:
You may need to go back and forth with teams a few times to find a time that works for both teams, ultimately the home team can schedule the game for any reasonable time on the day scheduled by Norcal even if the time does not work for us, sometimes we will have to adjust, keep your shared scheduling file updated.
You can change dates as long as both teams agree, you can move games to Sundays as needed. NOTE: State Cup Group Date games will be Sundays, make sure you reserve those Sundays for State Cup. The State Cup schedule can be found HERE
Keep travel time and warm up time in mind when leaving gaps between game times, coaches are often traveling between fields and will need time to drive between locations.

Hints: you will likely need to be somewhat flexible, we go in with the best intentions to scheduling within the window we are assigned but it often does not work out that way, the more you keep your shared scheduling file update the more your other team managers will be able to adjust around scheduling mismatches.
There are likely to be one or two games with overlap, just let your coach know when you have game overlaps so they can determine how they are going to cover both games.
