Practice responsibility�
It is everyone’s job to help make West Whittier a great place to learn. The next slides show how to be responsible in the hallway.

Walk on the yellow line
Be responsible. Do NOT run in the hallway. You may fall and hurt yourself. Walking on the yellow line is safe.

Go directly to the destination
Be responsible. Follow your teacher’s directions at all times. Do not waste time.

Help keep our school clean
Be responsible. Do NOT leave trash in the halls. If you see trash, please pick it up. Lets all help keep our school clean.

Always Be Respectful�
We should always think about other people’s
feelings. The next slides show how to be respectful
in the hallway.

Keep Hands and Feet to Yourself
Be respectful. Do NOT touch others. Keep hands and feet to yourself at all times.

Walk Quietly & Be Mindful of others
Be respectful and mindful of other classrooms. Do NOT make noise. Others are working and learning.

Respect Other People’s Property
Please respect other people’s property. Do NOT touch anything while walking in the hallway that does not belong to you.

Work and play safely
We MUST always be safe in the hallway so nobody gets hurt. The next slideshow how to be safe in the hallway.

Walk Facing Forward
Be safe. Do NOT run in the hallway. Walk in a straight line. You should always be looking forward so you do not bump into anyone or anything.

Keep Your Distance
Be safe. Do NOT touch others in the hallways. Keep your hands and feet to yourself.

Students who follow the expectations, will be rewarded with a Praise Note. You can exchange them for rewards.

Students who choose to NOT follow the expectations,
will have consequences for their actions.

Strive to be PAWsome! Always follow the hallway expectations especially when nobody is looking. Be PAWsome at all times. It’s NEVER cool to break the rules.
