QUESTIONS! QUESTIONS! QUESTIONS!

Will all electives run?

This depends how many students choose that particular elective. If only a few students choose a particular elective then it may not run - we will contact you if this happens, although this is extremely rare!

What if I change my mind?

Choose carefully. Sometimes this happens. Go and talk to your Gr5 counselor, Mr. Newgard or Ms. Pekin. If there is still space we might allow you to change.

Do I have to take a music, art and drama elective?

Yes if you are in G5 and G6.

No if you are in G7 and G8.

How many teachers will I have? Six!

One for Math & Science

One for English and Social Studies

One for PE

One for Music

One for Art or Drama

One for Modern Language (new!)

WHAT THE GRADE 5 TEAM HAD TO SAY...

I love that they are more comfortable in their own skin.

I love that they are interested in all types of reading and share recommendations with their friends.

G5 are the most upbeat students in the MS.

It is more fun in the Middle!

G5 are the most fun because they know how to live in the moment.

G5 students become more responsible and show more initiative in class.

They are full of energy all the time and some of their jokes are really funny.
