Here is an idea.
You don’t have to only make basic shapes like rectangles and ovals.
Try using the Polyline tool to draw more detailed shapes.
Look at the following slide for an example of this

Are you ready to try?
Step 1
Step 2
Gather your photos and then give them a comic book style
Step 3
Much like the Magazines, you change your layout to create your Comic Book.
Or if you like I have a template you can modify here. Which has elements and ideas like you see here.

There are a few highlights we would like to make you aware of heading into this school year. Our course offerings have expanded with the addition of Computer Science, Aerobic Fitness, Business/Virtual Enterprise, and Positive Psychology classes and our partnership with Sierra College to offer Dual Enrollment courses in US History, English, Engineering, Journalism, and Digital Art. These Dual Enrollment courses allow students the opportunity to earn both high school credit and transferable college units. Our work in attending to the emotional wellness of our students will continue with staff training in ways to help our students manage and alleviate the stress that can occur in a teenager’s life. We have worked with the city of Rocklin to provide overflow parking at Twin Oaks Park. Lastly, to maintain and enhance our school culture, we will be bringing Teen Truth onto our campus to provide student assemblies and leadership summit to help instill a student driven campus culture. More to follow as the event approaches.
“I have been involved with Rocklin High School as a parent, coach, classroom teacher, Athletic Director, Assistant Principal and now as Principal for over 22 years. I believe the biggest factor in the success of our school has been the connection between school, home and our community. All of us working together to develop young people has been fundamental in the achievements of our school and has created an educational environment in which our students have the opportunity to grow and thrive. We hope that your student finds something on campus or a staff member they can connect with to make the most of their time at Rocklin High School.

That there are 10 staff members still working here from when the school started in 1993? Take a look at the photo and see how many you can name?
Throughout the year RHS will be celebrating this 25 year milestone. During this celebratory year, we will be honoring staff, students and accomplishments that have made RHS an outstanding educational institution. Stay tuned for future highlights.
RHS PARENT CLUB
Welcome back to Rocklin High School and a big welcome to our new families and incoming freshman. We are so excited to have you at Rocklin High for an upcoming, fantastic school year. Rocklin High School Parent Club has a completely new board and a new vision as well. Our goal and vision is to engage our community to enrich our student’s experience and we would love for you to be part of this with us! I am sure you would agree with us that our students are top notch and deserve a Parent Club there to support them all along their journey. We will be working hand in hand with the staff and administration to assist them in meeting their goals. We will also communicate with you how we can best work as a team and community to do so. Please consider joining the Parent Club where your donation will be put to good use and your input is valued and appreciated. We would love to hear from you with any of your questions and concerns. Registration and Schedule Pick-up Days are coming up!
Prior to Assigned Registration Day:
What to Bring:
Visit the RHS Website for more information
The Counseling Department would like to welcome all students and parents to the 2017-18 school year! We look forward to seeing students during registration and schedule pickup next week. Please know that classes are impacted and we have done our best to meet the needs of students and the course requests they completed for the upcoming school year. The only changes that will be made are errors in student schedules (i.e. wrong class, missing period, etc.). There will be a three week “drop” window at the beginning of the year to allow students to transfer from an AP/Honors/Advanced course to a regular course if needed.
Freshmen Orientation/Link is scheduled for Tuesday, August 15th at 8:00am which will provide detailed information for both parents/students to help with the transition to Rocklin High School. Parents should bring their own device to the meeting.
Naviance is a wonderful tool available for students/parents. The SuperMatch college search tool is an excellent way for students to start exploring postsecondary options and entrance requirements. Instructions for Naviance can be found on our school website
We are looking forward to a fantastic school year and are here to support students in way possible!
