Grades Tab

The grades tab is a gradebook within classroom. Easily input and view grades across classes and students.

In the gradebook grid, you can view average grades per assignment and per student, and see the overall performance in your class. You can share progress with students, so they can track their grades and know where they need to improve.

  • In the Google Classroom app, click the class
  • Select Classwork at the bottom
  • Tap the student’s name
  • Tap the attachment you wish to annotate
  • Click the pencil icon to begin annotating
  • The annotated copy will attach as a PDF and be accessible to the student to view.

Copy a class

  1. Go to the homepage for Google Classroom.
  2. Locate the class you wish to copy and click the "three-dots" button in the top right corner of the class tile.
  3. Choose "Copy" from the drop-down menu.
  4. You can now edit the name, section, and subject for your new class.

What gets copied in this process are the Topics, Assignments, & Questions on the Classwork page.

However all of the items are set to "Draft" so you can publish them to your students one by one as needed.

Note: Posts from the Stream are not copied.

Audio Instructions

Get the Talk and Comment Chrome extension.

Refresh the page for the microphone to appear on the right side.

Click the microphone, start talking and click the checkmark when done.

Copy the URL.

Paste the link right in the instructions or into the Add link field.

It will either play right in the Classroom Assignment page or open in a new tab to play.

Visit webcamera.io and allow the webcam.

Click the red button and record a message.

Click Save to download it
