Description of the CCR Program

Old Saybrook High School's College and Career Readiness Program is designed to provide students with opportunities to become self-aware, to be exposed to a variety of careers and career pathways, and to interact with individuals in college and in the professional community. They will have opportunities to pursue their areas of interest and to gain knowledge and experiences that will inform their post secondary decisions and allow them to do so confidently.

  3. Connect students to OSHS alumni that are engaged in post-secondary studies related to their educational interests.
  4. Assist students in developing self-awareness.
  5. Encourage students to welcome new challenges.
  6. Provide students with opportunities to apply what they have learned in the classroom.
