Upon entering third grade, we expect our students to:

  • Have the ability to sustain silent reading for a minimum of 20

minutes.

  • Use correct capitalization and punctuation consistently.
  • Have mastery of basic addition and subtraction facts from 0-18.

  • Understand place value to the thousands place.

  • Identify the value of coins and bills up to $5.00

  • Recognize time on an analog clock.

  • Complete homework on a nightly basis.

Using a rubric:
