The Theme: Carrefours/Intersections

The theme of the conference is “carrefours/intersections,” a place where roads or streets meet, from Latin quadrifurcus, “four forks.”

DH2020 encourages three sub-disciplinary interests:

  • First Nations, Native American, and Indigenous Studies
  • Public digital humanities
  • Open data movement(s)

DH2020 will use open peer review for the conference. The open peer review process requires submitter and reviewer identities to be disclosed. Reviews themselves will remain confidential to the submitter, reviewers, and the members of the Program Committee.
