Schedule

Starting Monday, November 02, 2020 4th and 5th grade will open following an AM/PM schedule:

AM- 8:00am-10:30am

PM- 12:00pm-2:30pm

AFTERSCHOOL day care (10:30am-5:30pm) is available for AM. Day care is LIMITED and only available to families with dual working parents who work outside the home. Students that are enrolled in daycare will be sent over when their class has ended. (Please see the office to make arrangements for daycare.

These stickers indicate where students can stand while waiting to enter the classroom. They have been placed 6 feet apart on the ramp and cement next to their classroom.

Hybrid model-

1. Students will be completing 2½ hours of work in class which means that 90 minutes of work will be completed at home.
2. Work that will be completed at home:
1. iReady
2. IXL
3. Math and ELA Homework **
4. Science and/or Social Studies
5. A.R.
6. PE
3. NO MORE PICTURES.
• Homework can be submitted via Google Classroom or hard copy. Homework is due daily, unless otherwise specified.

Drop off/Pick Up: PARENTS DO NOT GET OUT OF THEIR CAR!!!

1. Follow the parking lot and take note of entrance change (see the following slide).
2. Drop off lane is closest to the buildings. Student must be dropped of in this lane only!
3. 4th & 5th Grade gate will be open 7:55-8:03 for AM and 11:55-12:03 for PM. DO NOT BE LATE. Pick up on time. Stay in the car during drop off AND pick up.
4. We will be doing temperature checks and a health screening BEFORE allowing your child to enter. Do not drive away until you have been given a thumbs up. Masks are mandatory for entrance and will be worn all day.
5. 4th & 5th grade will be picked up through the same gate. 10:30 am for AM and 2:30 for PM.

5th grade will line up along the 5th grade classroom

Masks/Physical Distance

• Masks must be worn at all times 3rd-8th grade.
• Stay 6 feet apart.

Following these rules will help keep our school open.

Snack/water/bathroom

1. Please send a snack and a labeled water bottle with your child. We will not have access to the water fountains. If you are picking up free food after school, there are snacks in the bag. You can send those snacks the following day or send your own. We will NOT have snacks available in the classroom.
2. 4th and 5th graders will have a 10 minute restroom/stretch break.
3. 4th/5th grade scheduled bathroom time is 9:40 - 9:50 AM and 1:40-1:50 PM, so please be sure your child goes to the bathroom before school. Bathroom use outside of our time window is for EMERGENCIES only.
4. 5th grade students will use the restrooms located in the gymnasium. 4th grade students will use the main building bathrooms.

Materials-- 4th Grade

Please send ALL provided materials to school with your child. We will send back what they need to work from home on the first day. Chromebooks should be charged overnight and cannot easily be charged at school. You may keep the charger at home.

Distance learners:If your child is not returning yet please keep everything except completed tests and go math chapter 2. Next pick up of materials will be on Friday, November 6.

Materials -- 5th Grade

Please send the following material to school: AVT, Wonders Anthology, Workshop, Practice Book, math and ELA journals, fully charged Chromebooks (cannot easily be charged at school) and their pencil pouch.

Please keep the following materials at home: Chromebook charger and social studies book.

Distance Learners: Materials will be available for pick up on Friday, November 6.
