Wloclawek is one of the oldest cities in Poland. It is one of the largest administrative and economic centers in the region, with a well-developed cultural and sports infrastructure.
Włocławek was founded in 1255. It is located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. The mayor of the city is Krzysztof Kukucki.
The name of the city is derived from the male name Władysław and its Polish variant Włodzisław.

The recreational and tourist base that we provide to residents and guests refers to the historical function of the Vistula as a picturesque water route. An unforgettable experience is provided by a walk along the Vistula boulevards, located in the historic part of the city. Artistic shows, performances and concerts take place here. In addition, water attractions enthusiasts are attracted by two marinas.
Children and young people can develop their sports passions using the modern football and athletics stadium and the rich, constantly expanding school and housing estate infrastructure.
Wloclawek is surrounded by forests and tourist trails of the Gostyninsko-Wloclawski Landscape Park and the Kulin reserve, thanks to which it delights and confirms its uniqueness.
Anwil Włocławek has been playing its matches in the Champions Hall since September 2001, when the match against Spójnia Stargard Szczeciński inaugurated the game in this facility for over three thousand people. Previously, the team played in the Sports and Recreation Centre hall, which is over three times smaller. It meets all the requirements set by FIBA and other world and European sports organizations. It is a single-storey, free-standing building. The hall is distinguished by a unique, two-way tensioned roof structure. In its history, the facility has hosted national volleyball and basketball teams.
