The main objective in Spanish III is to develop, reinforce, and refine the communicative skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in the target language. Cultural competency will also be developed and explored throughout the year. Spanish III is the 4th consecutive year of language learning here at WAJ, and the last of a 3 year sequence for the advanced regents diploma.

Translators are NOT allowed, and tend to lead to more errors than clear communication. They also do not help you LEARN the language. On the other hand, dictionaries, online or hard copy, are a great tool to help you expand your communication skills!

● If you have any questions or need assignments while you are out, please feel free to email me.

● Complete the assignment within the amount of time of your absence. If you were missing one day, you have

one day to make it up. If you were missing two days, you have two days to make it up, etc.

● If you will be absent due to a school activity it is your responsibility to get the assignment ahead of time and turn it

on the day it is due.
