Berkeley Food Network
The Berkeley Food Network seeks to end hunger and poor nutrition by using innovative, community-centered solutions to build a more sustainable, resilient, and equitable food system.
Times and Days: Up to 3 hours and depends on when you sign up (Should be available to volunteer at the times the pantry is open which is Monday - Thursday: 10am - 2pm
Monday & Wednesday: 5 - 7:00pm (effective March 14, 2022))
Saturday: 10am - 12pm
Location: Berkeley Food bank
Tasks: Pantry organization, cooking, delivery, storage, sorting, etc.

Dragon Boat Festival
The Dragon Boat Festival is a significant Chinese festival which is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. Its origin was to commemorate the patriotic poet Qu Yuan.
Day and Time: TBD(usually in September)
Tasks include: Hospitality, Volunteer and Information Booths, Dock Duty, Dragon Land, Race Operation Runners, and Runners

Giant Race
Giant Race is a running race with an interest with baseball, helping to increase a sense of community and encouraging healthy behaviors.
Day and Time: August 20-21 6:00AM-10:30AM
Tasks: Support, water stations, security guard/protection, etc
Bonus: All volunteers receive free T-shirts

A marathon in Oakland helping to raise money and just have fun.
Day and Times: September 10th, 7AM-8:30(depending on day
Tasks: Finish line support, water stations, Start line support, marshal, etc.
Bonus: Free t-shirt and snacks
