• US Citizen

• Enrolled in or possess a letter of acceptance or intent from an accredited graduate program in the US
• Allowed to apply for scholarship while applying to medical school

Active Duty Training

• Direct Commission Course
• 4 week course at Fort Sill Oklahoma (Lawton Oklahoma)
• Schedule before medical school starts or the summer after 1^st year completed
• Paid as an active duty 2LT for 45 days
• AMEDD Officer Basic Leadership Course
• 6 week course at Fort Sam Houston (San Antonio Texas)
• Schedule after 1^st or 2^nd year
• Paid as an active duty 2LT for 45 days
• Opportunity to work in one of the Army’s world-renowned health care facilities for up to 6 weeks during 3^rd and 4^th year
• Paid as an active duty 2LT for 45 days each year
