Semester Grades

Electronic Devices

Phone and headphone use are NOT allowed in class. Our time is short and I need your full attention.

Phones will be placed in a holder and traded for a calculator daily.

Points will be accrued for each day that can be used on tests .

See county policy 4318

Notebooks

Organization is critical in this class ☺

Our notebooks will contain 98% of the work that you do in this class. It is imperative that you take care of your notebooks. PLEASE be diligent by:

  • Filling out the table of contents daily and keeping track of papers
  • Don’t ever throw anything away- it goes in the notebook somewhere!
  • They will be DUE and graded on test days

Students should be looking over notes every day for at least 30 minutes. Classwork not completed in allotted time becomes homework

Learn the terms- the scientific language in the course is dense. Study your vocabulary on a daily basis.
