Testing:

  • Students will be notified a week before taking a test and I will review the day before.
  • If you are present for each lesson, but absent for the review, you will still take the test the next day with the class. But if you are absent the day of the test, you will take the test within the first 2 days back or you will receive a zero.
  • If you are absent for several days before a test, you will be allowed a few days to learn the missed lessons before making up the test.
  • A quiz will be given every week based on class work and homework.

Cheating:

  • ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for any type of cheating in class. Cheating is not only just copying work from another student or source, but cheating is also giving your work to another student to copy. If a student is caught cheating all credit on the assignment will be lost resulting in a zero grade. Assignment cannot be made up.

Absences:

  • If a student misses a class, it is his or her responsibility for all notes during that time. The student has to approach the teacher for information (provide a valid excuse).
  • Students should make-up work in order to avoid getting a zero (0).
  • Read the section in your textbook that was taught while you were away.
  • You will get one day for every homework assignment missed.
  • You will get a zero for skipping or cutting class.
  • If I’m absent, the work given by the sub-teacher must be submitted at the end of the period because it will be graded, if not you’ll get a zero.
